Jewellery giant Pandora reports that 100 % of its gold and silver used in its Thai facility are now fully recycled, and operations are powered by renewables.
With waste‑material reuse reaching 98 % and a shift toward 100 % renewable electricity, Pandora is repositioning itself from mall‑jeweller to sustainability leader. The brand calculates it avoids roughly 58,000 tons of CO₂ annually by using recycled metals.
Future ambitions include sustainable packaging and water‑use reductions, aiming for net‑zero waste by 2040. For the craft side of fashion, this signals that even accessory segments (often side-lined in sustainability dialogue) are undergoing transformational change.
