Danish label Ganni has entered a four‑year agreement to use Cycora, a recycled polyester from U.S. startup Ambercycle, derived from post‑consumer textile waste.
The offtake deal means Ganni will purchase Cycora in advance, signalling a commitment to integrating circular‑materials into its collections rather than waiting for optional supply. The goal: replace around 20 % of its annual virgin polyester usage with Cycora in 2024, and set a pathway for broader textile recycling in future. Beyond materials, the deal shows how a fashion brand is shifting from “eco‑option” to supply‑chain transformation. Challenges remain (forecasting demand, quality consistency), but it’s a meaningful step toward a circular fashion economy.
